Camden Town needs no introduction as a hotspot for live music and one of the town's most iconic venues is close to re-opening after changing hands earlier in 2016.
The new owner of the Jazz Café, nightlife company Columbo Group, are heavily promoting the big re-opening, which will take place on Wednesday 25th May. Acts confirmed for the event include 22a Music, Just Blaze, Darkstar, Waka Flocka, Portico, DaM-FunK, Fatima & The Eglo Live Band, Pantha Du Prince, Mad Professor and many more to be announced.
The grand re-opening will be hotly followed by Dollop and The Dave Harrington Group on Thursday 26th May, and Waxpoetics with Just Blaze and Hannah Faith on Friday 27th May.
The programme of events is packed through to the end of May and already into June - check out the Jazz Café's website or Facebook page for news of upcoming live music and performances that will thrill Camden audiences.
The Jazz Cafe has spent a quarter of a century bringing the most respected names in jazz and soul to Camden Town. D’Angelo, Amy Winehouse, Adele and Bobby Womack have all played the venue, formerly a branch of Barclays. Now the Columbo Group, who run a string of great London venues, have given the place a new look. They intend to carry on its legacy by presenting exciting new sounds from the wider family of jazz music,
